Legal
Effective Date: August 6, 2026. Last Updated: August 6, 2026.
This policy sets out how UGC Vids AI may and may not be used. It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service. By using the platform you agree to it. We enforce this policy actively, and breaching it can cost you your account.
The AI actors provided on UGC Vids AI are licensed characters. Where a likeness derives from a real performer, it is used under licence with consent recorded.
Some features let you supply your own footage, including footage of a person. You may only do this where the person is you, or where you hold that person's documented permission to use their likeness for advertising. You are asked to confirm this each time you supply such footage, and that confirmation is recorded against your account.
You must not depict any real, identifiable person without their documented permission. That includes public figures, celebrities, politicians, colleagues, competitors' staff and private individuals. Public availability of a photograph or video is not permission.
You must not use UGC Vids AI to create, generate or distribute:
Impersonation and deception. Content presenting a synthetic person as a specific real person; fabricated endorsements or testimonials attributed to real people; content designed to mislead viewers about who is speaking.
False advertising claims. Health, medical, financial or income claims you cannot substantiate; before-and-after results that misrepresent a product; any claim that would breach the advertising rules of the platform you run it on.
Adult and exploitative material. Sexual or pornographic content of any kind. Any sexualised depiction of a minor is met with immediate termination and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.
Hate, harassment and violence. Content attacking or degrading people on the basis of a protected characteristic; harassment or defamation of an individual; incitement to violence.
Election and crisis misinformation. Content intended to mislead about elections, voting, public health or an ongoing emergency.
Illegal goods and infringement. Advertising for illegal drugs, weapons or counterfeits; footage, music, trademarks or characters you do not hold the rights to use.
Platform abuse. Attempts to interfere with the service, circumvent limits or quotas, resell access without written permission, or operate multiple accounts to obtain repeat trials.
You remain responsible for the advertising you run. That includes complying with the rules of the platforms you publish on, with applicable advertising and consumer law, and with any requirement to disclose that content is AI-generated. Several major ad platforms now require such disclosure; check the rules where you publish.
Automated screening. Prompts and generated output pass through automated content filters, and some models apply their own provider-side filters.
Human review. Reported content, and a sample of generated output, is reviewed by a person.
Enforcement. Where this policy is breached we may remove content, refuse a render, suspend or terminate the account, and withhold refunds for the offending generations. Serious breaches end the account immediately. We cooperate with law enforcement where legally required.
Reporting. Anyone, customer or not, can report content generated on this platform by emailing support@ugcvids.ai. Include a link or description. We aim to review reports within two business days, and we act faster where a report concerns a real person's likeness.
We may update this policy as the product and the law develop. Material changes are announced by email to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect, in line with our Terms of Service.
Questions about this policy, or about whether an intended use is permitted, go to support@ugcvids.ai. If you are unsure whether you have sufficient permission to use someone's likeness, ask before you generate, not after.
