Emotion tags in your script
Use [laughs], [sighs] and [excited] to direct the delivery.
Step by step
Write the tag inline, in square brackets, exactly where you want the beat: I tried it for a week [laughs] and I was wrong.
Tags are the one thing we lift out of your script before it reaches the model. Everything else stays verbatim.
Use them sparingly. Two or three in a fifteen second read sounds human, ten sounds unhinged.
Not every model supports every tag. Unsupported ones are dropped rather than spoken aloud.
