AI video price index

What one ad costs to render on each frontier video model. Updated whenever our pricing catalog changes.

One AI video ad costs $1.11 to $6.22 to generate on UGC Vids AI: one 10-second vertical clip with sound, at delivery resolution, before you spend anything on media. The cheap end is Grok Video at 140 credits on the Agency plan. The expensive end is Seedance 2.0 at 635 credits on the Starter plan. Two things move the number: which model you render on, and which plan you buy credits at.

Everything is billed in credits from one pool, so the price of a video is the price of the model you chose, not a per-video fee. A credit is worth $9.80 per 1,000 on Starter ($49 for 5,000 credits), $8.25 per 1,000 on Growth ($99 for 12,000 credits) and $7.96 per 1,000 on Agency ($199 for 25,000 credits). Bigger plans buy credits cheaper, which is why the same render has three prices in the table below. Annual billing takes about 30% off every figure on this page.

For a concrete anchor: our default model, Kling 3.0, at 10 seconds and 1080p costs 520 credits, which is $5.10 on Starter and $4.14 on Agency. Across every duration and resolution we sell, including 4K, a single render is priced between 40 and 1,985 credits. There is no video-count cap: credits are the only meter.

Cost per ad, by model

One 10-second clip, priced on each plan. Credit costs come straight from the catalog that bills the render, so what you see here is what the generator deducts.

Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro are being retired by OpenAI on September 24, 2026. They are listed here because they are still priced and still running today, but we would not start a new campaign on them. Our pipeline stops offering these models on that date so nobody can spend credits on an endpoint that has gone away.

Methodology, and what these numbers are not

Every figure above is generated from the same two files that charge your account: the credit catalog that prices a render, and the plan catalog that sets how many credits a dollar buys. Nothing is typed in by hand. The dollar columns are simply the credit cost multiplied by the plan rate, so if we reprice a model this page repriced with it.

Assumptions worth stating plainly. We price one clip of about 10 seconds, because that is where most paid-social variants land. Models sell fixed duration tiers, so where 10 seconds is not offered we use the nearest tier the model actually sells and show it in the Clip column, which is why some rows read 8 seconds. Resolution is the highest standard tier a model offers, 1080p for most and 720p for the models that top out there; 4K costs more and is not in the table. Three models have no duration control at all because their length follows the script, so those rows price 10seconds of speech through the same per-second function the charge uses, and are marked “spoken”.

What this is not: a finished-ad cost. A real ad is usually several clips, plus product images, plus the attempts that did not work. Model output is not deterministic, so budget for more than one render per usable ad. Failed renders are refunded to your credit balance automatically, so a hard failure does not cost you credits, but a render that technically succeeded and simply is not good enough does. Images are billed from the same pool and are much cheaper: a Nano Banana image is 25 credits, about $0.20 on Agency. Credits never expire, and top-ups run from $10 to $140 if a month runs long.

How to read the index

The spread between the cheapest and the most expensive model you would start a new campaign on is roughly 4.5x (Grok Video at 140 credits against Seedance 2.0 at 635), which is a bigger lever than the spread between our plans. Picking the right model for the job saves more than upgrading a tier does, and the cheapest model is not always the wrong answer: a fast hook test does not need the most expensive renderer, and a hero ad probably does.

If you want the decision made for you, the AI video model picker asks four questions and returns a model with its credit cost. If you are working out whether a testing round pays for itself, the UGC cost calculator prices the whole month. The rest of the set lives on free tools.

Questions

What does one AI video ad cost to generate?

On UGC Vids AI a single 10-second ad costs between $1.11 and $6.22 to render, depending on the model you pick and the plan you are on. The floor is Grok Video at 140 credits on the Agency plan; the ceiling is Seedance 2.0 at 635 credits on the Starter plan. That is the render cost only, and does not include ad spend.

How many credits does a 10-second AI video cost?

Between 140 and 635 credits for a 10-second clip at delivery resolution, by model. Across every duration and resolution in the catalog, including 4K, a single render is priced from 40 to 1,985 credits.

Is there a limit on how many videos you can make?

No. There is no video-count cap. One credit pool covers every model, so 5,000 credits on Starter can go on many cheap clips or fewer expensive ones. Credits never expire, and top-ups run from $10 to $140 if you need more inside a month.

Which plan gives the best price per video?

Starter at $49 for 5,000 credits works out to $9.80 per 1,000 credits, Growth at $99 for 12,000 credits works out to $8.25 per 1,000 credits, Agency at $199 for 25,000 credits works out to $7.96 per 1,000 credits. Annual billing lowers every figure by about 30%.
